Transition to Work

What's Your Next Move?

There's a whole world beyond the classroom, and it’s full of choices. Should I get a job? Do more study? Learn a trade or profession?

It’s a lot to think about, but with our flexible range of services, you’re in control. ON-Q can help you explore your strengths, identify opportunities and develop the skills and confidence to pursue your goals.

Transition to Work is a two-year program for school-leavers that is designed to give you a head start at work. You’ll set goals, gain work experience, and develop the skills and qualifications to get the job you want.

You’ll get on-the-job training and earn money while you learn. And by the end you’ll be ready for the next level – your first job.

The Transition to Work initiative will prepare you for employment; support you to participate in TAFE, college or other community services; help with literacy and numeracy, budgeting, using transport and other life skills; and help you find and keep a job.

It’s all about you – your dreams, your ambitions, your journey.

How Can I Apply?
