ON-Q lends a Helping Hand

Thursday, December 17, 2015

It is often said that it is love that makes the world go round, however without doubt it is human kindness which keeps its spinning existence on an even keel.

Many of us take our health and physical well-being for granted. This definitely wasn’t the case on Friday when local well known Disability Employment Service ON-Q Human Resources willingly engaged in building prosthetic hands for donation to amputee landmine victims throughout the developing world. This activity is essentially a team-building event that enables ordinary people to literally "give a prosthetic hand" to people in the developing world.

ON-Q receives star ratings

Monday, June 02, 2014

Recently the Department of Social Services announced to all Disability Employment Service (DES) providers their Star Rating results for the Disability Management Services (DMS) contract.

ON-Q staff across northern NSW and the Gold Coast celebrated the results with Tweed office receiving the maximum rating of 5 stars, Lismore received a very high standard of 4 stars and Southport achieved an above average 3 star rating.

ON-Q’s General Manager Lisa Smith is confident that this confirms ON-Q’s reputation as a leading provider of employment services. "We are really pleased with the results and acknowledge all our staff for their commitment and hard work" she said.

"We recently received advice that our Disability Management contract has been extended to 2018. This is exciting news for our staff and clients, and by continuing to provide quality services to our clients and local employers, it cements our ability to support people experiencing challenges returning to work" continued Ms Smith.

ON-Q operates in seven locations across northern NSW and south east Queensland. With small, local teams we pride ourselves on making a difference in the lives of people we have the privilege of working with.
